The MediumGallery is a new and creative initiative of curators/artists Daniël Dennis de Wit and Wouter Sibum where they give artists the opportunity to show their work in a unusual and non-conformistic enviroment. After the departure of both de Wit and Sibum, Rik Möhlman, Josine Siderius and Feiko Beckers are currently in control of the MediumGallery's activities.
The Gallery is situated in a informal living enviroment; sometimes referred to as "a house", therefore artists will have to deal with certain issues they mostly will not be confronted with showing their work in a 'standard' white cube.

Main concept of the MediumGallery:

"The MediumGallery is not a white-cube where autonomous artworks should or would be shown. The MediumGallery has the intention and purpose to show artwork that outside of the MediumGallery would loose it's meaning. With other words; the Mediumgallery wants to show 'context-dependent-art' "
