 | | show by: Astrid Nobel In the work of Astrid Nobel, she withdraws several fragments from their original context, after which she combines them to construct a new cohesive reality. To create this cohesion, Nobel uses a common denominator to connect image to object, object to text. The temporary qualities of the single fragment are being removed, the incident is denied.
Nobels work in the MediumGallery will be the result of the dissecting of a dreamy document. Separate sentences have been selected, based on their levels of domesticism, and reconnected to the specific location. Nobel graduated from Academie Minerva in 2007 and is currently studying at the Vrije Academie in The Hague. This exhibition was made possible with support of the Netherlands Foundation for Visual Art, Design and Architecture
