The MediumGallery presents “We Care A Lot About Art In Public Space” in the context of the Noorderstation
project of galley Sign +. The project deals with the issues concerning the renovation and social improvement
of several neighbourhoods near the Noorderstation as was imposed by the government. The MG always works
with a site-specific approach, and this approach has been used within the project: The main aim of “We Care A
Lot” has been to actually improve the neighbourhod. The artists that have been working on the project, have been
taking on several jobs to improve people's immediate environment. The jobs were done on demand of several
residents of De Hoogte and De Korrewegwijk.The executed tasks have been translated into artworks, and will be
part of an art-route that will be open from 18 April until 3 May.
The participating artists are: Wouter Nijland , Mieke Rinket, Nicolas Vionnet (CH), Wouter Sibum and Aafke Weller.

Documentation of the artworks can be seen at the projectspace at the Noorderstation,
Kastanjelaan 1, Groningen.
