Folkert Joore always works site-specific, and uses the (gallery)space as the medium and carrier of his work. The space works as a startingpoint, comparable with a white piece of paper or canvas. Joore additionally uses found materials suchs as, wood, piping, Styrofoam and tape to process into this space. The space's given construction and it's details are used as referencepoints, which could be extrapolated, exaggerated, and rearranged. This usually results in a transformation of the space which is present, but subtle enough to fool ones eyes. The MediumGallery asked Folkert Joore to realize a context-dependant project in the MediumGallery. His interpretation of this assignment will be realised in the show: "BINNEN#2" (translation from Dutch: INSIDE#2)
